Our Peruvian cacao is grown and handcrafted by Jane' Ines del Castillo Ramirez & her family. Her cacao grows harmoniously on her small farm, beneath the shade of banana trees along the Las Piedras river, surrounded by Amazon wildnerness. By purchasing Soul Melody Cacao, you are supporting Jane’ and her community directly, and helping to preserve the Amazon Rainforest.

 

Jané's Peruvian cacao embodies a subtle feminine energy and powerful essence of the Amazon rainforest, the lungs of our mother earth. You will not find this cacao anywhere else. 

 

Fermentation: 5-7 days in banana leaves 

Altitude: 200-400 metres above sea level

Land Specifics: forest by the river of the southeast Amazon jungle region of Tambopata or "Madre de Dios," (Mother of God) river, surrounded by natural rainforest, and next to Jane's family home
