Cacao Cauldron: What to add to your cacao brew?

Cacao is delicious on its own with water, this is the best way to truly taste the pure flavors within the cacao.

There are so many possibilities to explore, it can truly become your own creation.

Here are some ideas to mix and match, have fun!


Spices:

Cayenne

Cardamom

Nutmeg

Vanilla

Cinnamon

All spice

Cloves

Anise

Pumpkin spice

Ginger

Turmeric

Black pepper

Sea salt

Chili


Fats:

Cacao butter

Coconut oil

Hemp seeds

Nut & seed butters- such as cashew, macadamia, almond, pistachio, hazelnut, etc.

Ghee


Mylks:

Coconut milk

Coconut cream

Oat milk

Nut milk

Milk


Sweeteners:

Honey

Maple syrup

Coconut sugar

Raw sugar

Dates (added in blender)


Herbs & Adaptogens:

*Add powders to the beverage, if you desire to work with certain herbs, brew them as a tea first then add the tea to the cacao

Rose

Lavender

Ashwaganda

Maca

Mushrooms (lions/s mane, chaga, cordyceps, etc.)


Other:

Corn meal

Essential Oils: food grade, 1 drop in a large batch, such as orange, or rose

Teas: Brew tea and then blend the tea with the cacao in a blender or in the pot
